hey myself. haven't been seeing myself hanging around here lately. that's due to the failure of my hard disk! ARGH!! all data gone! video, music, pictures, games. no surfing of the internet for like close to a month. i finally know how cold turkey feels like. the feeling of helplessness, longing to do something, but you don't have the means to. feeling restless. it just simply feels like you are going psyco. the computer is evil! it operates just like how drugs clings onto you. but oh hell, my evil computer is back on. at least i freed up all my memory space on my computer!

this is the day where we officially bid our seniors goodbye. barbeque, chatting, performance, final debrief for our seniors.. never in our minds will we think that in a years' time, we will be in the same shoes as them. separation and parting. sadness and sorrow. (kae.. not to that extent, but you got what i meant right?) this is the day where we officially take over as odac-ers. as leaders, as the sole members of this exclusive club. the day where we are brought together as one to organize something for our seniors.

time really flies doesn't it..? fast-forward one year and here we are. in the same situation, same feelings, same thoughts as our seniors had a year ago. passing the flame to our juniors whom we cared for, whom we spent our time with and gave our hope to for the past few months. just imagine our juniors, like us last year, wore on a huge grin on their faces, thinking of the times they will spend with each other in the future, eagerly anticipating the journey that lies ahead. they came a long way. however, we have walked an even longer way.. all good things have to come to an end. saintsodac0607 forever.

i don't have much to say anyway. haha.. just wish that we still can meet up as one some day and enjoy once again.. oh well, emotional parts over! pictures are currently being uploaded to imagestation. i really hope that my internet connection holds up. i hate it when they show this dumb error claiming that they can't connect to imagestation when just only 8 images are uploaded out of my 92. damn i hate uploading.

yooo~! live earth ended finally after 24 hours of music and performances. haha.. it's really great to see my favorite bands and singers like linkin park, rihanna, black eyed peas and jack johnson sing on stage live! and got to know some really good songs and new singers..! and some bad ones too a.k.a. wolfmother. haha! anyway, thanks minqi for lending the 9 of us your house to mess up! haha.. at least we did help to save electricity by not turning on the lights to watch live earth! ain't got no photos for the live earth party.. haha. kinda forgot to take photos ar..

the gaming season returns! july 5th marks the end of all failed 360s! haha.. microsoft finally admitted their mistakes and are revamping their warranty program yet again. this time, offering 3 years of RROD (red rings of death; stupid name..) warranty effective to all 360 consoles out there! haha.. i love you peter moore.

watched a fantastic movie called transformers yesterday.. well deserves the title 'best unreleased summer movie of 2007' by mtv movie awards back in june. fight scenes are great but too fast. hard to catch up with all the action going on screen i must say.. but then again..

Perhaps it's this movie that caught microsoft's attention to remind them how the rrod are messing with 360 gamers out there.. haha!

has been a long while since i last blogged.. the damned mids are finally over and as usual, skinned me alive, especially physics. (pre-prelims physics test in 4 weeks people! four weeks.) still never study hard enough, did try but minimum effort. how does 4 days before the mid years sound. a lot ya? i'm sure. really screwed. i hope i'm not as screwed as my block test.. i'm talking about rock bottom results people.. haha. don't know what i was doing the previous time..

history in the making! anyway, i went to the national stadium closing matches on saturday (interim break between exam weeks la..) free tickets from catholic high..! (great homecoming gift.. haha) haha.. though singapore got thrashed 3-0 against australia, and the ex-international team drew 1-1 with malaysia's, i would say thanks to the national stadium for whatever, hosting the national day parades almost for every year and for letting me step into the field for syf '06 last year. haha!

//LIVE EARTH 7.7.07

kae.. as you know that stupid channel 5 (why stupid? read my 1st post) is airing LIVE EARTH on 7.7.07. yeah. concert for the earth in crisis.. singers from all over the world performing in 8 cities on 7 continents, all on the same day! how cool is that? with performances by the black eyed peas, kelly clarkson, madonna, linkin park.. irresistable! plus, live earth party odac style! staurday people. minqi's house. be in green if you can. if you still didn't notice, i transformed my blog into full green, in support of live earth. haha.. there is some similar stuff i see on mtv, called mtv switch. what's with going green these days man..? but seriously, we are killing ourselves if we continue what we are doing now. the more energy you waste, the worse it would get. climate's changing. feel the heat like you never felt before in previous years. the weather these days are just one word: hot.

//heroes season finale

anyway, still on teevee, just watched the season finale of heroes season 1 on star world.. so addicted to that show.. feel like watching it all over again.. haha. anyway, to those who are still halfway through the series, no spoilers here. so don't worry. haha.. but the season finale didn't feature the really really great fight scene i expected to have. after syler killed so many people, and sucking so many powers and that's it? 5 minutes fighting scene with some crappy style moves by hiro nakamura and the end?! but i finally know what mr. bennet's first name is.. after 23 episodes. season 2. i'll be waiting. haha.. oh! the cast of heroes is coming down to singapore august 31 and/or september 1.. not the whole cast will be coming down though. the cities fighting for the casts are other than singapore, london and toronto but potentially, (those in italics, i wish they will be here haha..)

last post?! well, this blog is closed temporarily, meaning no new posts.. well, my parents are returning back from kl tomorrow morning! on one hand, i finally get more noise in the house, and the other, control is back to haunt me. freedom gone. aww.. but i don't have to eat outside food no more! haha.. anyway, i won't be able to use the computer up till when the mid-years are over i reckon..

for the past week starting june 16, i have been eating out so much, and for convenience, especially eating those ang moh food, makes me kinda sick of them already. mmm.. rice, noodle, kai lan, fu yong dan (egg), gu lou yoke (sweet and sour pork), zeng sek ban (steamed dunoe wad fish), aiya.. anything that uses chopsticks to eat, i miss 'em! mum's cooking, well, i must say not really top notch cooking, but still way way way way way better than the school's jj rice (mixed rice)! man, if that were to be the last chinese food to exist in this world, i'd rather be ang moh! please. it's inedible alright? no taste, no texture, no color, no nothing! it's like eating dirt you know? dirt? kae back to my mum's cooking. right. comparable to those siu cao (like jü cao or tze cha or whatever you call it in hokkien but on a smaller scale) in hawker centers. sajc food sucks.

34. no. that's not what you think it is (who cares what you think? haha..). it's the distance i swam today! 1700m! of which 30 laps round the pool are non-stop..! at least i met my target. haha.. now my arm and legs hurt as if i did 1000 push-ups and ran 10km. and i'm still blogging. however, i must say, i drank at least a cup full of chlorinated swimming pool water. yuck. my throat hurts quite badly because of this la! as i open my mouthto breathe, water just gets into my mouth and gets 'breathed' in together with air. then the water sorts of get forced down the throat, and repeat for 40 mins. i am lucky to still have my voice la! haha..

kae. this section doesn't really matter to all of us as we won't be able to do anything about it. but just to voice out, as you can see, the some stupid dunoe what lame gahmen agency in the United States of America (actually, the Copyright Royalty Board) increased Internet radio's royalty burden between 300% and 1200% and thereby jeopardized the internet radio industry. Where the rate will be increased to 0.19 penny per song streamed over the net. sounds little right? but think again. if a radio station has say an average of 10.000 people tuning in every minute, and plays say 15 songs an hour. do your math and the radio station will have to pay a staggering US$520.125 a month! which translates to US$6.241.500 a year! (this is actually a very low estimate.)

1st post and i'm gonna rant my anger already! i am pissed. why? cos that stupid channel 5 kop-ed the licences to air lost season 3 away from axn! now the whole of south east asia can watch lost EXCEPT singapore! what is this? utter rubbish! even those lame 'lil countries that i never hear before can watch, singapore being such a NICE and FINE country can't air. i'd rather migrate to papua new guinea then! now what? now i will have to wait till what june 22nd to watch ONE episode a week on channel 5!
